Unregulated.
Potentially toxic.

For +85,000 hours, pressed against our most absorbent, sensitive tissue in our bodies, we rely on period products.

From our first period to our last.

Yet studies have found heavy metals like lead and chemicals in them that over time can accumulate in the body.

Lead

Long-term exposure to lead can result in damage to the nervous system, reduced intelligence and learning ability, kidney damage, high blood pressure, and fertility problems. In children, even small amounts can cause permanent damage to brain development and affect behavior and concentration.
There is no safe lower limit for lead exposure.
